2012+ Exhibition Layout and Design by Ceren Bingol
The DROP NYC, 2012+ art exhibition layout and themes are now online. Designer and Co-organizer Ceren Bingol collaborated with curators Alexandra Chang and Mie Iwatsuki to create a Noguchi garden-esque environment inside the 4,000 sf raw warehouse space. Use of sensuous fabrics and delicate plants play into the theme of the exhibition, providing a minimal backdrop of sensuousness, delicacy and hopefulness to the art work on display.
The four themes of the exhibit intertwine in a series of experiences which carry the visitors from start to finish. The exhibition culminates in a participatory instructional piece by Yoko Ono.
