Thank you for everyone who came out and supported THE DROP and Exhibition 2012+. It was a fantastic Chelsea opening – perhaps one of the best ever. Hundreds of people filled W25th street on Saturday despite early afternoon rain. The sun came out as the Party Under The High Line went underway with Truth and Soul’s Jeff Dynamite and Halcyon taking the stage. From the siting of Chuck Close to an impromptu set by DJ Spooky in the VIP Lounge, the event was a perfect way to celebrate the beginning of fall and the new season for the Chelsea art galleries.
For the next two weeks, Exhibition 2012+ will be open Tuesday through Sunday. The exhibition closes on October 17, and we will be hosting a closing ceremony with Pecha Kucha on October 17. For tickets to the event, please stay tuned for more details.
